Andrew Cormier focuses his practice on litigation in federal and state courts, primarily representing municipalities and individuals in employment, administrative, and local taxation related matters. He is admitted to practice in Rhode Island and Massachusetts state courts and the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
Andrew is a graduate of the University of Rhode Island and the Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While at Loyola, he received the Warren E. Mouledoux Professional Responsibility Award and was a student practitioner in the Stuart H. Smith Law Clinic and Center for Social Justice.
Andrew also serves as an adjunct faculty member of Roger William University where he teaches Legal Research and Writing in the School of Continuing Studies and as a member of the City of Pawtucket’s Riverfront Commission.
